One Thing I know he has never failed me yet.

This is the story of Sibo, a beautiful lady I met at church — a story that still inspires me to this day.

Sibo had been very ill and was admitted to Avenues Hospital in Zimbabwe. Her condition was life-threatening and required an emergency operation. Now, Avenues is not the kind of hospital that proceeds with medical treatment without upfront payment — especially not for surgery.

But in Sibo’s case, something extraordinary happened.

The doctor who examined her recognized the urgency of her condition. He immediately ordered that the operating theatre be prepared, saying,
“Don’t talk about money or payment now — this has to be done immediately.”
They went ahead with the surgery, and she was later transferred to the High Intensive Care Unit (HICU).

While she was asleep after the operation, Sibo had a dream. In the dream, she saw a group of people gathered ahead of her, and she wanted to join them. But every time she tried to walk toward the group, a wall appeared in front of her, blocking her path. This happened three times — and then she woke up.

As she regained consciousness, she heard a song playing in her mind:
“There is one thing I know, that Jesus Christ has never failed me yet.”

When her relatives arrived, she asked them if they could hear the song too. They couldn’t. They asked her to sing it, and when she did, she realized the song was playing only in her spirit — a personal message of reassurance from God.

Later, one of the women she was sharing a room with opened up to her. She confessed that when Sibo was brought in, she thought they had placed her in a room with someone who was about to die. But she said:
“God must really love you. You’re still here — and that seemed impossible.”

Sibo recognized that moment as an encounter with God. It wasn’t her time to go.
And to this day, she remains strong in her faith — a living testimony that Jesus Christ has never failed her yet.
